Our Six Step Custom Home Building Process

Step 1:

The first meeting between you and our Design Consultant is more of a “get to know you” than anything else. Naturally, you are going to want to know more about Campbell Garrett and what we can do to make your dream home a reality. We will want to know some things about you, your desires and tastes, and your expectations of a home builder. Typically, by the end of the initial meeting, we’ll be prepared to do our homework and then prepare a preliminary cost estimate & bid for our next meeting.

Step 2:

At Campbell Garrett, home design and drafting services are part of the building process and price. You won’t pay extra for your plan. Work with one of our Designers to come up with your own unique plan. If you have a plan already we are prepared to bid that also.

Step 3:

Don’t feel like going to a different store for each part of your home? The Campbell Garrett Design Center is a one-stop shop for all of the selections for your new home. With a wide variety of selections of counter-tops, cabinets, flooring, brick, stone, plumbing fixtures, lighting and everything else you might need, the Design Center makes your selection process easy. Work with our experienced Interior Designers who will help you pick just the right thing to properly reflect your taste and style.

Step 4:

Campbell Garrett has assembled a team of some of the best experts in construction and residential lending in Southeast Texas. They can shop the absolute best deals for you and be a tremendous asset during the building process. If you have a mortgage company, we will work with them to make sure that there aren’t any surprises during or after construction.

Step 5:

From land preparation to delivery, Campbell Garrett is there with you. Our expert Builders and Design Consultants will be available to you by phone, email, text or in person throughout the building process. All of our Builders are Graduate Master Builders, the highest level of educational achievement awarded buy the National Association of Home Builders. In addition, our owners will personally inspect your home every week to ensure quality.

Step 6:

At Campbell Garrett, we have a detailed Home Owner Introduction that introduces you to all of the parts and pieces of your new home, their operation and maintenance, and warranty before you move in. Your Builder will also be checking in regularly for the first few weeks after move-in to make sure that you are settling in well and to answer any questions or address any concerns.

Did you know that there will be somewhere around 200,000 parts and pieces going into your new home? If we get it 99.99% correct, chances are that you will, at some point, need to contact our warranty team. You can set your mind at ease knowing that Campbell Garrett has dedicated Customer Service Representatives there to make sure that your problem is fixed in a timely and professional manner.
